Delaware Bar Exam

The Delaware Bar Exam assesses whether or not a candidate is competent to practice law in Delaware.

For its bar exam, Delaware requires completion of two parts.

The first portion of the Delaware Bar Exam is the Multistate Bar Examination, or the MBE. The MBE is administered twice annually; once on the last Wednesday in February and again on the last Wednesday in July.

The second portion of the Delaware Bar Exam tests candidates on unique aspects of Delaware's laws. The state specific portion of the Delaware bar examination is administered in essay format.
